Fin Machine Operator (Aerospace Manufacturing) 4X10S 3pm-1:30am

TAT Technologies' Tulsa site serves as the company's Center of Excellence for heat transfer manufacturing, MRO, and OEM solutions. Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.

We are seeking a Fin Machine Operator for our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations. This position will primarily work 4 days with the hours of 3:00pm-1:30am. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

A Fin Machine Operator is responsible to run machinery to produce daily customer orders on designated product lines.

• Perform the operation of machines on designated product lines according to the production schedule
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
• Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
  Perform basic troubleshooting of problems during machine operation
• Ensure all safety devices and guards are fully operational and that safety procedures are being observed
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output
• Create and maintain activity/job logs as required
• Record all production performance, counts, downtime and other quality or production related information as required
• Meet specified production performance targets
• Participate in production process improvement efforts

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
• Experience with Robinson and/or Voss fin machines preferred
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals. Knowledge of GD&T preferred
• Basic mathematical skills
• Physical stamina and strength to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Physical stamina to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Critical “Cause and Effect” analytical abilities. (i.e., If I do this, that will happen)
• Working knowledge of shop safety protocols
• Additional job duties as needed and assigned
