Adjunct, Touro University Florida

Touro University Florida is hiring adjunct faculty in the following disciplines:

• Natural Sciences
• Mathematics
• Psychology
• Economics
• Computer Science

Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment to our undergraduate students.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• →Develop and deliver course syllabi, lectures, and assignments that are aligned with the department's curriculum and meet the needs of students.
• →Grade student work promptly and provide feedback as necessary.
• →Prepare students for assessments and provide helpful performance feedback.
• →Meet with students during regularly scheduled office hours and other scheduled times to provide support and guidance.
• →Participate in department meetings and faculty development activities.
• →Keep up-to-date on the latest developments within discipline and incorporate them into teaching materials.
• →Create an inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• A Master's degree or higher in relevant academic field required.
• Previous college-level teaching experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge base within academic field; ability to keep up to date with advancements in field of study.
