We’re looking for native-speaking freelance linguists to collaborate with Terra Localizations on upcoming video game translation, editing, proofreading (TEP), and machine translation post-editing (MTPE) projects.

We’re recruiting linguists working from English into:

Depending on your expertise and project needs, you may work on translation, editing, proofreading, and/or MTPE of video game content, including dialogue, UI, tutorials, item descriptions, and promotional materials.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Translating English content into accurate, natural, and engaging target-language text.

• Editing and proofreading translations for accuracy, fluency, consistency, and style.

• Post-editing machine-translated content to meet the project’s quality requirements.

• Maintaining gaming terminology and following glossaries, style guides, and client instructions.

• Identifying linguistic issues and raising questions when context or clarification is needed.
