Logistics:

Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current license to practice medicine in New York State.
- Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus

You will:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. Rotating call/holidays
Direct Patient Care: 95% of the time involved in direct patient care. Contractor shall be responsible for:
- Provide on-site clinical and on-call coverage for Interventional Radiology, including, but not limited to the following procedures:
  - Angiography,
  - Balloon Angioplasty/stent placement
  - Biliary intervention
  - Biopsies (CT guided and Ultrasound guided) including Lung, Liver, Renal, Lymph Node, Thyroid, Parotid, Bone, Bone Marrow, etc.
  - Central Line insertion/assessment
  - Chemoembolization
  - Dialysis access & related interventions
  - Drain/tube insertions and exchanges including Biliary, Nephrostomy, Chest, NU stent, Cholecystostomy, Abscess, Suprapubic, etc.
  - Embolization
  - Joint injections
  - IVC filters
  - Lumbar Puncture
  - Myelograms
  - Paracentesis
  - Radiologically inserted gastrostomy
  - Thoracentesis
  - Vertebroplasty
- Administrative: Estimated 5-10% of time not involved in direct patient care
