The Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflow, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to company policies. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage logistics, inventory, and cross-functional coordination effectively.

Responsibilities

→Supervise daily department operations.
→Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management and warehouse processes.
→Monitor and maintain operational KPIs, addressing gaps or inefficiencies.
→Lead and manage warehouse staff.
→Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to develop team members.
→Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
→Identify inefficiencies in operations and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
→Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate innovative solutions into operations.
→Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
→Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
→Investigate and address incidents to prevent recurrence.
→Manage departmental budgets and control operational costs.
→Ensure resources, including equipment and staff, are allocated effectively to meet operational goals.
→Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
→Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Program Management teams to align operations with business objectives.
→Provide regular updates and reports on operational performance to senior leadership.
→Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational challenges impacting customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, operations management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
3+ years of experience in operations or warehouse management, preferably in a distribution environment
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and WMS software.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
