About Us
Having operated very successfully in the Middle East for over 10 years, Texel Air has now expanded its operations into New Zealand and Australia. Our Australasian operation is now well-established, and we are broadening the scope of our activities.
The Role
Along with excellent, well-maintained aircraft, we also require exceptional personnel. We need pilots who excel in a dynamic environment, approach challenges with innovative solutions, understand the importance of schedule integrity, and consistently deliver service that surpasses expectations.
As a Senior First Officer (SFO), you will provide second-in-command support to the Pilot in Command (Captain) and, where required, support trainers on new trainees' initial line flights and other trainees during simulator sessions.
About You
As an experienced pilot, the following mandatory requirements will need to be in place:
- MUST have a current New Zealand ATPL and Class One Medical Certificate or be willing to convert your current Australian ATPL through the TTMRA process.
(Must be able to provide Proof of ATPL License and Class One Medical)
Note: Preference will be given to applicants who already hold a New Zealand ATPL and a Class One Medical Certificate.
- MUST have a B737 NG Type Rating (Not the MAX) with recent (within at least the last 5 years) experience, and MUST have the following flight hours:
· 3000 hrs Total Time, and
· 2000 hrs on MPA, and
· 1000 hrs on B737 Classic and or NG, or
· 1000 hrs on types > 50 t MTOW
(Must be able to provide Proof of Logbook Evidence)
- MUST have the right to live and work in Australia and New Zealand.
These roles will utilise your exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
While requiring a high level of drive and initiative, you will also maintain a balance of technical expertise combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
