A Better Opportunity for an Experienced Ammonia Technician
Tired of driving from plant to plant?
This is a dedicated, long-term position at ONE industrial facility in Brighton, CO. You’ll work hands-on with a large-scale industrial ammonia (NH3) refrigeration system without the constant customer-site travel that comes with many refrigeration service jobs.
What stands out:
- $30–$50/hr + overtime + bonus
- $85K–$110K+ potential total earnings
- Monday–Friday schedule
- ONE dedicated industrial facility
- No routine travel between customer sites
- Long-term, stable opportunity
- Work directly with industrial ammonia refrigeration equipment
- Opportunity to grow with an established national refrigeration contractor expanding in the Denver market
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Maintain and repair compressors, pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
- Respond to refrigeration equipment issues and minimize downtime
- Monitor system operation and identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Perform hands-on mechanical and refrigeration troubleshooting
- Follow PSM, safety, and established refrigeration procedures
- Document maintenance and repair activities
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on industrial ammonia/NH3 refrigeration experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience working with industrial refrigeration equipment
- Ability to independently diagnose problems and perform repairs
- Comfortable working in a plant/industrial environment
- Strong commitment to safety
Why This Opportunity?
The biggest difference is the setup.
Instead of spending your week driving between different customer facilities, you'll be based at one industrial facility long-term, allowing you to learn the system, become the go-to technician, and spend your time actually working on equipment rather than sitting in a truck.
You'll also have the backing of a national refrigeration contractor with a growing presence in the Denver market, giving you the stability and resources of an established company while still having room to grow.
