Project Manager

The Building People is hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead facility operations and maintenance services for a major federal office and warehouse complex in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for the full scope of building operations – including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, vertical transportation, grounds, and building automation systems – across a large multi-building campus. You will lead a team of skilled tradespeople and supervisors, manage the customer relationship, and ensure the facility runs safely, reliably, and efficiently.

• →Serve as the primary point of authority for all contract and operational matters, representing the company in all communications with the customer.
• →Direct and oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, vertical transportation, grounds, and building automation systems (BAS).
• →Build and manage a staffing plan, including hiring, training, and supervising onsite supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
• →Coordinate subcontractors and specialty trade partners as needed to fulfill service requirements.
• →Own the quality control program, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• →Maintain a strong, responsive working relationship with the customer's facility management representatives.
• →Ensure compliance with safety programs, training requirements, and all applicable codes and regulations.
• →Track and report on maintenance activity using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
