Role Purpose
To lead and transform Indian Shared Services finance operations by ensuring robust GL, AR, AP, taxation, audit compliance, and strong financial controls while driving seamless transitions and operational excellence.
To partner with stakeholders to build a high-performing, KPI-driven GSC environment focused on governance, digitization, process improvement, and effective team leadership.

Base Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Vice President - Global Service Centre
Job Description
• Experience with Indian shared services (meaning, SSC for Indian organisation)
• Good understanding of GL process & direct / indirect taxation
• Has to be from Indian SSCs, who brings above mentioned experience
a. Engage with stakeholders to understand business context & expectations to devise solutioning & target operating mode
b. Define transition plan & drive effective transitions with clear milestones
c. Define effective Shared service & process control measures
d. Ensure all operational deliveries are managed as expected
e. Ensure that accounting & payments to suppliers in time, reconciliation of bank and ledger accounts, reconciliation of inventory, and establishing effective control over collection from customers
f. Ensure that all AR, AP & Accounting processes, revenue accounting etc are managed effectively
g. Ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and proper validation of accounts & prepare monthly variance report
h. Ensure that all direct & indirect tax requirements are articulated & managed effectively
i. Ensure quality reviews of GSC deliverables are conducted
j. Create active engagement with Users across the organization to establish a culture of identifying root causes for performance gaps, identifying suitable solutions, and deploying the same.
k. Establish relevant KPIs (GSC & Process Success) to generate ownership within the team
a. Interact with stakeholders & drive effective governance
b. Develop and deploy relevant Performance Review cycle at different levels of the organization
c. Manage escalations proactively
d. Help to drive data driven decision making by providing insights to Business Performance through Dashboard
Requirements
~1 min read• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with minimum 15+ years of experience in F&A outsourcing / offshoring with Indian organizations / Indian SSCs
• Must have Indian accounting experience.
• Should have experience in all 3 towers - AP, AR & GL
• Experience with period close & direct / indirect taxation is must
• Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
• Experience in transition, setup & running off-shored Finance operations
• Possess strong analytical skills & transformation experience
• Work flexible over-hours in close coordination with line manager covering situations where business is requiring urgent execution.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment Detail oriented Professional and articulate communicator, Team player, Flexibility in work schedule, Aptitude for prioritization/multi-tasking
