The Document Control & Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project by ensuring project information is accurate, organized and accessible. This position combines hands-on document control with project coordination, working across multidisciplinary teams to manage design reviews, track progress and actions, and maintain clear, reliable project records using Aconex and SharePoint.

This 12-month contract, with potential for extension, offers the opportunity to contribute to a major Canadian port infrastructure development that will strengthen Canada’s trade and supply chain capacity.

Responsibilities

Document control:

  • Administer Aconex, including setting up and managing document workflows.
  • Maintain the project’s internal SharePoint site.
  • Distribute documents and information to the appropriate team members.
  • Transcribe, tabulate, and combine comments from project reviewers.
  • Monitor and follow up on overdue tasks/actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects (design build, EPCM preferred).
  • Solid experience administering document control processes in Aconex.
  • Experience coordinating engineering designs.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Advanced Aconex and Share Point skills are strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Fluent in English. French language proficiency is considered an asset. 
  • Previous Canadian work experience or experience working directly with Canadian industries.
