Operations Manager

DP World are looking for a Operations Manager for our new multi-user operation Coventry 220 based in Segro Park. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation, inspire high-performing teams and play a key role in delivering exceptional service for multiple customers

• Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused performance. 

• Manage and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors, creating an engaged and high-performing team. 

• Deliver operational KPIs across productivity, quality, service and cost. 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance. 

• Monitor warehouse processes, inventory and administrative functions to ensure operational excellence. 

• Build strong relationships with customers and act as the operational lead for customer-related activities. 

• Work collaboratively with Quality, Health & Safety, Finance and wider site leadership teams. 

• Experience leading warehouse or contract logistics operations inan Operations Manager capacity

• Strong people leadership and coaching skills. 

• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office. 

• Experience with new site/customer launches would be highly desireable

• A passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable results. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• The ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment. 

• A proactive, organised and collaborative approach with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
