Senior Inspection & Reliability Engineer

The Senior Inspection & Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of condition monitoring systems for crane and equipment as well as being responsible for the RAT (Rope Access) inspection team. You will ensure optimal selection of condition monitoring devises for various applications and install and monitor equipment performance, safety, and reliability in order to minimizing downtime and maintenance costs for our clients. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and field personnel to analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Responsible for developing and implementing condition monitoring programs for cranes, including vibration analysis, thermographic inspections, ultrasonic and other techniques for condition monitoring. Deliver structured training to client staff in the use of condition monitoring techniques. Additionally you will coordinate and arrange the Rope access inspection team to deploy and successfully complete crane inspections globally.
Condition Monitoring
- Undertake and analyse condition monitoring tasks and data to identify trends, potential failures, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with client’s maintenance teams to plan and schedule preventative maintenance based on condition monitoring findings.Create and maintain detailed reports on crane performance, maintenance activities, and condition assessments. Recommend modifications to enhance crane performance and reliability based on monitoring data.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on condition monitoring techniques and safety practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, advancements in technology, and best practices in condition monitoring.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure proper installation and calibration of monitoring systems
Safety Adherence
- Ensure personal contribution towards safety standards and implementation of safety policies across the WCS team globally acting as both an implementer where necessary and as a guide for others within the team.
WCS Ambassador
- Act as an ambassador of WCS at all times when engaging with clients, suppliers and contractors, ensuring and demonstrating positive behaviour, values and culture of WCS is promoted in all aspects of your work in an ethical manner.

Strong background in condition monitoring practices and techniques in heavy industry ideally in Marine port.
At least 7 years’ experience in the field.
Marine Port Crane experience would be desirable.
Excellent Written and Verbal English Language skills.
Confidence in communication at all levels within an organization and well developed presentation skills.
