Press Operator / Setup - Coopersville Area

• →Operate and monitor manufacturing presses according to production schedules and quality standards.
• →Perform setup and changeover procedures for various production runs, including tooling adjustments and material loading.
• →Conduct in-process quality checks, identifying and resolving minor defects or machine malfunctions.
• →Load and unload raw materials and finished products from presses, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• →Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
• →Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, output, and quality data.
• →Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and wear appropriate PPE.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, hydraulic).
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality checks using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting press issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and machine interface.
• Demonstrated ability to perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Prior experience in a quality control or inspection role.
