Quality Engineer - Cadillac Area

We are partnering with organizations in Cadillac that are seeking Quality Engineers. • →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• →Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve product quality.
• →Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards.
• →Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• →Manage and maintain quality documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
• →Participate in new product development (NPD) to ensure quality is designed into products and processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with metrology and various inspection techniques.

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical software
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
