Quality Engineer - Hudsonville Area

• →Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• →Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• →Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• →Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• →Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• →Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
• →Maintain and update quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality tools.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
• ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CSSGB).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
• CAD software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
