Quality Technician - Rockford Area

• →Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
• →Utilize various metrology equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product specifications.
• →Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
• →Investigate and troubleshoot non-conforming materials and products.
• →Collaborate with production to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• →Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and failures.
• →Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
• →Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in using quality measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and tools (e.g., control charts, Pareto analysis).
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CQT, CQPA).
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and schematics (GD&T).
