Responsibilities

  • →Performs in-process and final inspections of manufactured products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • →Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality systems.
  • →Conducts various tests on materials and finished goods, utilizing precision measuring instruments and test equipment.
  • →Identifies and quarantines non-conforming materials and products, initiating corrective action requests as needed.
  • →Assists in the investigation of root causes for quality issues and supports the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • →Calibrates and maintains inspection and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • →Collaborates with production personnel to address quality concerns and promote a culture of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • →Participates in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in using various inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
