Shop Manager - Byron Center Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Shop Managers. • →Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation to meet manufacturing targets.
• →Manage and mentor a team of shop floor personnel, including performance reviews and training.

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shop environment
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a team of technicians/operators
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and safety
• Experience with inventory management and procurement processes

• Additional certifications or training
