Shop Manager - Manistee Area

• →Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation to meet manufacturing targets.
• →Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards across the shop floor.
• →Manage and develop a team of production staff, including performance reviews and training.
• →Optimize operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• →Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• →Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
• →Manage shop equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing shop floor supervision
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 15+ production staff
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Additional certifications or training
