• →Design and build new tools, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
• →Repair and maintain existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to stamping dies and other production tooling.
• →Perform precision grinding, milling, turning, and EDM operations.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to produce components with tight tolerances.
• →Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.
• →Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and machinery to minimize downtime.

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in Tool and Die Making or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the setup, operation, and maintenance of manual and CNC machining equipment
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and material properties
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex tooling and die issues

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor)
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and programming (G-code)
• Certification in a specialized area (e.g., EDM, jig grinding)
• Ability to perform basic welding and fabrication tasks
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
