Tool Maker - Zeeland Area

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Zeeland that are seeking skilled Tool Makers. • →Fabricate, repair, and maintain molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• →Interpret blueprints, sketches, and 3D models to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• →Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment.
• →Perform precision measurements using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• →Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tooling, ensuring proper function and quality.
• →Select appropriate materials and heat treat tooling components as required.
• →Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize tool design and manufacturing processes.

• Apprenticeship completion or equivalent on-the-job training as a Tool Maker.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Expertise in operating a variety of manual and CNC machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
• Strong understanding of metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and material properties.
• Demonstrated ability to perform precision measurements using various inspection tools.
• Proven problem-solving skills for diagnosing and repairing complex tooling issues.
