Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment of physician assistants and nurse practitioners, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, for both per diem and clinic locations.
  • Ensure candidates meet specific licensing requirements such as an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and ANCC or AANP Board Certification.
  • Manage licensing and credential verification processes for all healthcare professionals.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the management of hired physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • Maintain compliance with ADA/OSHA standards and ensure that all contracted healthcare professionals have accessible exam locations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure a reliable pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to implement strategic recruitment tactics and improve recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruiting, particularly within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of the licensing, credentialing, and regulatory compliance requirements in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing a largely independent workload.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with healthcare specialties such as Critical & Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, and others.
  • Experience and understanding of Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams conducted by the Department of Veterans Affairs; familiarity with the General Medical disability benefits questionnaire (DBQ)
  • Experience with remote recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Standard shift: Day shift; Part-Time to start with Full-Time growth potential
  • Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday, with weekend availability as needed
