Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Days/Nights

As an ER Registered Nurse, you’ll assess, plan and implement and evaluate patient care during some of the most critical moments of their lives while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to clinical excellence, compassion, and community-centered care. What You’ll Do Serve as an advocate for patients of all ages (ranging from neonates to geriatrics), respond to emergencies quickly and effectively and help maintain an efficient ER environment Perform initial patient assessments, develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Administer medications & IV therapy per hospital policy and with accuracy and confidence Respond quickly and effectively to trauma, medical emergencies, and critical situations Coordinate nursing care and patient assignments based on acuity and staff competencies Accurately document patient status, interventions and responses in the electronic medical record Provide emotional support and compassionate communication to patients and families during difficult moments Uphold the highest standards for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Alabama RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license BLS certification required Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire TNCC preferred Previous Emergency Department experience strongly preferred New graduates with a passion for emergency medicine are encouraged to apply Work Environment This role is ideal for nurses who excel in high-energy settings and are passionate about emergency medicine.
