The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Russellville, Alabama to hire a Registered Nurse – Med Surg Location: Russellville, AL Department: Inpatient – Med Surg Shift: Days Position Type: Full time or PRN About the Role The Registered Nurse – Med Surg provides direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting, delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing services. This role works collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Provide patient and family education Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Adhere to hospital safety, quality, and infection control standards Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Alabama Minimum of 3 months of nursing experience (acute care experience preferred) Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment Schedule Full time or PRN Days
