We are looking for a Lead Visual Designer to lead product aesthetics through typography, color theory, and iconography, creating accessible (WCAG) and consistent Design Systems. The ideal candidate blends this strong visual expertise with efficient dev-handoff, user research, usability testing, and the strategic use of AI.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead design direction across multiple teams, defining the vision for scalability, mentoring senior designers, and bridging the gap between design, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- →Create and evolve scalable design systems, defining typographic scales, spacing, and tokens to transform how our clients work.
- →Execute high-fidelity UI components, ensuring visual consistency across colors, typography, and icons to guarantee brand harmony.
- →Conduct UX research and user tests to map journeys, validate hypotheses, and transform insights into digital products.
- →Master WCAG accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive and accessible experiences for all people.
- →Deliver efficient handoff specifications to bridge the gap with engineering and accelerate the development phase.
- →Utilize productive AI tools strategically to optimize processes and accelerate deliverables within small, cross-functional teams.
- →You will play an active role in the delivery and design of technology projects that transform how our clients work while developing new digital products and services.
- →Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure that project scope, risks and updates are regularly assessed and communicated.
Requirements

- You possess advanced English and advanced Spanish language skills to communicate fluently with global stakeholders.
- You're well versed in design systems, defining precise typographic scales, spacing, and tokens for complex digital products.
- You demonstrate excellence in UI design, mastering colors, typography, and icons to guarantee strict visual consistency.
- You're experienced in UX research and usability testing, employing different methods to map journeys and validate flows with real users.
- You hold deep knowledge of WCAG, ensuring that all experience design deliverables follow accessibility and inclusion guidelines.
- You excel at efficient handoff, delivering clear specifications and aligning seamlessly with engineering teammates.
- You adopt productive AI tools strategically to optimize design workflows and enhance the capabilities of delivery teams.
- You're well versed in all things experience design with specialities in at least three additional areas such as user research, service design, digital product design, interface design, visual design or other design-related disciplines.
- You're comfortable leading and advising research activities on experience design projects, employing different methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, experiments, user testing.
- You bring an inspiring design leadership approach, mentoring senior designers and bridging the gap between engineering and business stakeholders.
- You're happy to use advanced English and advanced Spanish to liaise between international clients and other key stakeholders.
- A keen interest in design systems, helping others grow in their understanding of scalability, spacing, and tokens.
- A knack for UI consistency, building confidence in others by maintaining clear standards for colors, typography, and icons.
- A passion for UX research and user validation, facilitating client brainstorms and internal sessions with your team.
- You can easily apply WCAG principles, expanding design teams' understanding of accessibility and ensuring consistency in the quality of design.
- You excel at engineering alignment, ensuring seamless communication and clear handoff specifications throughout projects.
- You bring a unique approach using productive AI, strategically optimizing processes and accelerating deliverables.
- You bring an inspiring, unique approach to product design and love facilitating client brainstorms and internal sessions with your team.
- A passion for contributing to the growing experience design community through peer reviews, expanding design teams' understanding of group dynamics and ensuring consistency in the quality of design.
