Senior Engineering Manager, Cashalo

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering team for Cashalo, our Philippines business. You'll act as the advisor to the Cashalo GM, in addition to leading an established, high-performing 11–12 person backend and mobile team. You'll own the ambiguous, cross-market problems that need sustained focus to solve.

This is a 100% remote role based in Australia, Singapore or the Philippines, requiring travel 4-6 times/year.

• Serve as the functional leader for Cashalo, embedded in day-to-day partnership with the local GM.

• Lead an existing 11-12 person backend and mobile engineering team, continuing to drive the high performance already in place.

• Own ambiguous, multi-stakeholder business problems - like running and reading several concurrent, interdependent experiments - through to resolution.

• Bring proven engineering and product patterns from other Tilt markets into Cashalo, balancing proven patterns with regional requirements.

• Travel to the Philippines roughly once a quarter.

• Deep, demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

• Product-first orientation - comfortable operating where technology already works, rather than looking to rebuild.

• Can easily talk to taking a broad, multi-stakeholder problem, identifying the root cause, aligning the group and driving to a solution.

• Experience in startup/scrappy environments.

• You're leveraging AI in your day to day workflow, building and using agents as a default.

• Even though you've moved away from day-to-day engineering, you can still have a robust technical discussion with Staff+ Engineers in your team.
