Senior Fluid Systems / Instrumentation Engineer (Offshore Energy)

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Fluid Systems / Instrumentation Engineer to support a major offshore energy infrastructure project in Europe.

This role focuses on the design, review, and optimization of fluid and instrumentation systems for complex offshore and onshore installations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations throughout the project lifecycle.

  Preparation and review of technical specifications for fluid systems

• →

  Support FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) activities

• →

  Review of P&IDs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation

• →

  Development of inspection and test plans (ITPs)

• →

  Technical support related to HSE, quality assurance, and permitting

• →

  Evaluation and minimization of technical risks during design, installation, commissioning, and operation

• →

  Support system design documentation and technical coordination with stakeholders

• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore, industrial, or complex infrastructure projects

• Strong background in instrumentation engineering and fluid/process systems

• Experience with:

  • P&ID review

  • Instrument selection and sizing

  • SIS / SIL systems

  • Process and utility systems

• Experience in offshore wind, offshore platforms, FPSO, power generation, or similar environments

• Good understanding of HSE and quality requirements

• Fluent English (C1 level)

• Experience with offshore substations or HVDC projects

• Knowledge of FEED and EPC project environments

• German language skills

• Start: July 2026

• Duration: Long-term project

• Location: Berlin / Hybrid

• Travel: Limited international travel may be required
