The Toronto Blue Jays is looking for Facility Services Attendants to play a key role in delivering an exceptional fan experience at Rogers Centre. As a crucial member of Facility Services, you’ll be part of a team that takes pride in creating a world‑class environment.


As an MVP of the Facility Services team, you will help to create and maintain a championship culture for the Facility Services department and enhance the fan experience by integrating the best practices in cleanliness and sanitization of the stadium during events. This involves executing all aspects of event cleaning, sanitizing, waste management, and inspections. 


Please note that these are seasonal roles aligned with the baseball and Rogers Centre events schedule, spanning from approximately May to November 2026. These positions are part-time contracts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a safe and clean stadium during ball games, live concerts, and private events; follow procedures, rules, and regulations  
  • Perform a variety of activities such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, waste and recycling reduction, or restroom inspections on a specific level of the stadium during an event  
  • Communicate to other team members using a radio while wearing an earpiece; follow radio etiquette rules and procedures  
  • Respond to every radio call with a sense of urgency   
  • Support team members with important tasks at any given time  
  • Maintain the general cleanliness of facility rooms in an organized manner  
  • Clean and disinfect cleaning equipment and supplies at the end of event  
  • Communicate effectively with team members and take direction promptly  
  • Inform Team Leaders of any hazards while servicing event  
  • Follow Health & Safety and Quality Service Standards that comply with set policies, procedures, rules & safety regulations  
  • Participate in other projects and events as required by Toronto Blue Jays 


Qualifications: 

Must be available to work 90% or more home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required. 


  • Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning and disinfection safety practices  
  • Working knowledge of employee responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 
  • Awareness and understanding of infection control practices, workplace hazardous materials and chemicals (WHMIS) 
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English fluency 
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and able to exercise good judgment 
  • Ability to work as a member of a team with minimal supervision 
  • Demonstrate a record of good performance and strong attendance 
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and respond to inquiries promptly 
  • Willingness to work all home games and Rogers Centre events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed 
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position: may require frequent walking for periods of at least 5 hours per shift and perform in humid climate conditions    
  • Must be comfortable reaching, squatting, kneeling, bending, and moving with standard janitorial equipment for periods of at least 5 hours per shift  
  • May require the ability to lift, push/pull loads of 14 kg (30 lbs.).  
  • Prepared to use all janitorial related equipment such as push carts, brooms, pan, buckets, and mops in a fast paced, loud, and congested environment 
  • Ability and willingness in certain conditions to wear an earpiece while responding to calls. 


Salary: The anticipated base compensation for this role is $18.20 per hour.
