At Trackforce, we are transforming physical security operations that are managed around the world. As the leading SaaS platform for physical security workforce management, we provide security companies and organizations with a streamlined solution to manage their guard forces, respond faster, operate more efficiently, and reduce costs — all while staying focused on safety and protection.

We support 4,600+ clients across more than 50 countries and are proud to be a growing team of 300+ professionals. With our headquarters in Dallas, Texas, and Centers of Excellence in Montreal, Quebec and Wroclaw, Poland, we collaborate across regions and time zones in a hybrid work environment that combines flexibility, connection, and meaningful impact.

At Trackforce, we operate in both hybrid and remote models, offering flexibility to balance in‑office collaboration with WFH. This approach allows our teams to stay connected while maintaining autonomy and work‑life balance. We are highly focused on delivering value to our customers, and our recent merger has strengthened our position as the market leader in security workforce management software.

The Product Manager, Workforce Management, will take hands-on ownership of our workforce management (WFM) solution’s squad operations – including owning the day-to-day execution, backlog quality, and delivery velocity. As you grow, you will increasingly carry the product delivery engine on a day-to-day basis.  As your product knowledge grows, you will be the go-to subject-matter resource and become more customer engaged.

This is a high-growth, high-visibility role reporting directly to the Group Product Manager.

Previous product managers who have thrived in this role did not arrive as WFM or private security experts. They succeeded because of their tenacity, their collaborative spirit, their willingness to read documentation, experiment hands-on with the software, and their genuine excitement about growingwith the product.

  • Own and facilitate squad ceremonies – dailies, refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Become the primary product voice in the squad; resolve day-to-day blocking questions as much as possible before escalating to the Group PM.
  • Maintain and actively manage the squad’s backlog: write, refine, and prioritize tickets with clear acceptance criteria.  This is a very important, regular and ongoing process.
  • Track and actively drive ticket velocity from a product management perspective, removing ambiguity that slows engineering.
  • Collaborate closely and respectfully with engineers, QA, and design to ship high-quality increments.
  • Become a deep subject-matter expert on our major WFM (aka ‘BOSS’) modules: Scheduling, Time & Attendance, Payroll, and Billing.
  • Learn the private security domain including: WFM workflows, the significance of key metrics, break-rule compliance, and how security companies win and lose on margins.
  • Use the product hands-on—explore it, break it, understand every configuration option—so you can have credible conversations with clients and engineering alike.
  • Study available documentation such as the help guide with genuine curiosity.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with Engineering, QA, and Design; act as a collaborative partner rather than a gatekeeper.
  • Participate in customer-facing conversations as your expertise grows, supporting the Group PM’s client engagement efforts.
  • Communicate product decisions and trade-offs clearly and tactfully; create dialogue rather than declarations.  Be tenacious without being pugnacious.
  • Assist the Group PM with competitive research, market analysis, and synthesis of client feedback.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization discussions with well-reasoned, data-informed input.
  • Proactively surface risks, gaps, and opportunities observed at the squad level.→ List core responsibilities in bullet format. Bold key areas and deliverables so they stand out. Group under subheadings if helpful for readability.
  • 2-4 years of product management, business analysis, or equivalent hands-on experience (implementation consultant, scrum master, support specialist, etc.).
  • Working in agile/scrum environments; Jira tools or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria coupled with strong verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Exposure to WFM, payroll, billing, or scheduling software in any industry.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, professional services, or field-service-adjacent domains.
  • Familiarity with the private security industry
  • Understanding of software development concepts (APIs, data models) to facilitate richer engineering dialogue.
  • Demonstrate and lead walkthroughs on assigned/core functionality
  • Deliver on assigned roadmap timeline commitments
  • Increase velocity on agile rituals (grooming, refinements, etc.)
  • Meet roadmap key benchmark metrics (post release)
  • Clear and referenceable documentation / record of work
  • Trackforce is the market leader in security workforce management software!  The industry is in the midst of a digital transformation from heavily manual and/or disjointed processes to a more streamlined technology infused operating model.  AI will become core and you can be in the middle of the journey helping our clients be even more successful.

The roadmap matters – clients large and small need what we are building.  Your work will have visible, measure impact in delighting our customers and building our moat.  The domain is complex enough to keep you challenged and growing for years, with career pathways into more senior or specialist roles as you grow.

At Trackforce, we operate in a hybrid model of work, offering flexibility to balance in‑office collaboration with remote work. This approach allows our teams to stay connected while maintaining autonomy and work‑life balance.

Planned office relocation (May) to 2020 Blvd Robert-Bourassa Suite 2000, Montreal, QC H3A 2A5 - offering a more central and accessible workspace.
