Mission Statement: Secure a high-volume solo position running dedicated grocery freight out of our Aurora, CO distribution facility, servicing King Soopers locations across Colorado and Cheyenne, WY.
Financial Package:
- Weekly Average: $1,625 gross.
- Peak Potential: Up to $1,650 weekly ($85,800 annualized).
- Bonus Structure: Includes mileage-based safe driving and on-time performance incentives.
Logistics & Fleet Specifications:
- Weekly Distance: ~1,700 average miles, averaging 1 to 3 loads daily and roughly 13 total stops per week.
- Cargo Handling: 100% no-touch freight consisting of live unloads and drop-and-hooks.
- Hardware & Equipment: Brand new automatic-transmission 2025 tractor models.
- Yard Logistics: 24/7 continuous operation; trucks must be parked at the Kroger facility during time off (no take-home trucks).
Shift Cadence & Rest Cycles:
- Work Cycle: 6 active duty days followed by 2 consecutive days off.
- Shift Hours: Night, evening, and early morning running windows with flexible scheduling and potential short mountain runs that still guarantee daily home time. Seasonal surge periods may involve occasional overnight runs.
- Home Reset: 100% Home Daily.
Talent Prerequisites & Screening:
- Experience Standard: Minimum of 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months, OR 3 full years of historical driving tenure.
- Licensing: Active, valid Class A CDL.
- Safety Clearances: Strict pre-employment compliance mandates including a DOT physical, hair follicle drug screen, and a urine drug test.
