Driver

• →Picks up, unloads, and delivers donations.
• →Provides excellent customer service with donors.
• →Maintains cleanliness of van and ensures it is fueled, reporting any damage and maintenance needs to corps officer.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• →During the Christmas Season (November & December), work increased hours (4-5 hrs daily) driving a Kettle Route.

• High School diploma / GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience operating a motorized vehicle.

• Knowledge of roadways within the community and the location of various donation sites.

• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
• Must have and maintain a current valid chauffeur’s license with a chauffeur’s endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR) or gain the chauffeur’s endorsement within 30 days of hire.
