Responsibilities

As a Pet Fresh Groomer, you'll deliver a five-star grooming experience while ensuring every pet receives safe, personalized, and compassionate care.

→Perform professional grooming services including:
→Bathing and brushing
→Blow drying and de-shedding
→De-matting
→Haircuts and breed-specific styling
→Nail trimming and grinding
→Teeth brushing
→Specialty grooming services
→Conduct thorough pet check-ins and check-outs with pet parents
→Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and communication
→Educate pet parents on grooming schedules, at-home care, and wellness recommendations
→Monitor and report any visible health concerns or changes in pets
→Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment
→Manage appointments efficiently while maintaining high grooming quality standards
→Create loyal, long-term relationships that keep pet parents coming back

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of professional pet grooming experience
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
3+ years of dog grooming experience preferred
Strong knowledge of breed-standard cuts and grooming techniques
Proficiency in scissoring, styling, nail care, bathing, and finishing work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Passion for animal care and pet wellness
Willingness to continue learning about grooming techniques, products, and services
Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds
Comfortable handling pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments
Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive grooming tasks
Comfortable working around pet hair and dander
