Head of Marketing
Quick Summary
We believe general-purpose, generally-intelligent robots will be built in our lifetimes. Robots will work in our factories, move our goods, walk on our streets and eventually be in our homes.
We believe general-purpose, generally-intelligent robots will be built in our lifetimes. Robots will work in our factories, move our goods, walk on our streets and eventually be in our homes. To build that future, research and deployment must work in lockstep: real-world operation must make the technology better and better technology must make deployment easier. We're looking for the thinkers, builders, and researchers who want to be part of that loop.
As an AI robotics frontier lab that deploys its inventions directly into the facilities that need them, on state-of-the-art hardware, every line of code or piece of copy written at Tutor has a direct impact on the global, physical economy.
Culture
We believe that something truly special can happen when talented, motivated people work together; at Tutor, every member of our team is empowered to have real impact in everything that they do. We’re characterized by both technical excellence and a focus on collaboration and respect.
We're hiring Tutor's first Head of Marketing: the leader who will define our category, own our narrative, and build the marketing engine and organization for an AI robotics company with robots working in production today.
Tutor is in a rare position. We're an AI robotics lab with a deployed, revenue-generating fleet and a loyal customer base — very early to a category most companies are still demoing. We have two distinct motions to power: a high-velocity mid-market business selling to manufacturers and co-packers, and a growing enterprise business built on seven-figure programs with major logistics and consumer brands. Marketing today is early and largely embedded in Sales; your mandate is to turn it into a strategic function that compounds — process-, technology-, and numbers-driven rather than powered by individual heroics.
You'll report directly to the CEO, sit on the leadership team, and own the full stack: category and brand, product marketing, demand generation, events, and PR/communications. You'll inherit and grow a small team into a large organization building and executing a new playbook for general proliferation of AI robotics.
This is a player-coach role. We're looking for a builder who still makes things, not an operator who needs a large org and agency bench to function. And we're an AI company: we expect you to build an AI-native marketing organization where an elite team produces at unusual scale.
You're probably not a fit if your playbook is primarily paid-channel demand gen, if you're a brand leader who doesn't own pipeline, or if you've only operated inside large marketing organizations with big teams and agency support.
