Performs skilled maintenance and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems
Installs, inspects, and services mechanical, piping, and ventilation systems
Troubleshoots system malfunctions and performs corrective maintenance
Reads and interprets blueprints and technical manuals
Ensures compliance with state building codes and safety regulations
May assist in other trades (electrical, carpentry) as needed

Minimum Qualifications (State-Consistent):

High school diploma or GED

Formal technical training OR equivalent work experience

Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems

Ability to operate tools and diagnostic equipment

Preferred Enhancements (UAPB-Specific):

EPA Section 608 Certification

Arkansas Plumbing License

Experience in higher education or large institutional facilities
