Summary:
As a Mid-Level Automation QA Analyst, you’ll help drive quality assurance across multiple software initiatives, ensuring reliable, high-performing applications, websites, and systems. This role blends technical expertise and business acumen. You will be working within a team of analysts, actively involved in advancing automation efforts.
  • Assist with planning and execution of testing strategies across multiple projects and teams.
  • Help to develop, maintain, and refine automation processes and frameworks to ensure reliable, repeatable testing.
  • Analyze business and system requirements to define and validate comprehensive test coverage.
  • Manage and triage defects, drive resolutions, and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project leaders to align QA processes with business objectives.
  • Participate in the on-call support rotation (3–4 times per year, after onboarding as an FTE).
  • Proven experience with automation testing.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools like Mabl (preferred), Playwright, or Selenium
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • 3-5 years of professional QA or software testing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Direct experience with Mabl.
  • Prior experience as an SDET or in a similar technical QA role.
  • Experience as a subject matter expert for automation and testing best practices.
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading QA team members.
