Responsibilities

→Evaluate project plans and specifications to determine material and labor requirements for custom fencing projects.
→Adhere to the company’s pre-existing procedures for accurate cost estimates.
→Collaborate with the owner, crew leads, and other team members to develop bids and proposals.
→Communicate with clients/team members to gather information and answer questions about the estimate.
→Maintain accurate and complete records of estimates and bid proposals.
→Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in building codes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience as a construction estimator, preferably with direct experience in the fencing industry.
Strong understanding of construction materials and methods, preferably related to fencing projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
