In this position, you are the bridge between Veepee and our payroll provider. While they manage the execution, you provide the expertise and oversight. We aren't looking for a "data pusher"; we want a partner who masters the nuances of Spanish labor law and takes full ownership of the accuracy and integrity of our payroll.
Manage and monitor the complete payroll cycle (approximately 400 employees), acting as the main interlocutor with the external management company for the communication of employee registrations, terminations and modifications.
Review and validate all monthly variables, absences, and incidents prior to final closing.
Check and validate the Social Security (RLC/RNT) and the presentation of the corresponding tax forms (111 and 190).
Serve as the primary contact for resolving internal queries regarding payroll and labor conditions.
Ensure compliance with current labor regulations and provide support in the event of external and/or internal audits.
Collaborate directly with the finance department on the monthly accounting closings related to personnel expenses.
Calculate and monitor provisions derived from payroll (vacation, bonus, etc.).
Manage the employee's administrative cycle (onboarding to offboarding).
Coordinate administrative tasks and payments for HR-related suppliers.
Actively collaborate in organizing internal events and promoting a positive corporate culture.
Academic background:Higher degree in Business Administration and Management (ADE), Labor Relations, Finance or related areas.
Professional experience: Experience in payroll management within the Spanish legal framework.
Profiles that have processed the payroll cycle internally will be accepted in-house or who have experience supervising and coordinating the process through an external agency.
Experience in multinational environments is highly valued.
Office automation: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data matching and reporting.
Tools & Systems: * Practical experience as a user/administrator of Workday HRIS. Familiarity with payroll software such as Meta4, Grupo Castilla, or Tramitapp.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data matching, reporting, and analysis.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, extreme attention to detail, organizational prowess, and a collaborative spirit.
