IT Project Manager

We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:

• IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a growing IT organization in the San Diego area. This role will help integrate and coordinate the department’s growth while bringing strong IT project management and process knowledge to support multiple initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT projects across both applications and infrastructure/hardware, with a stronger emphasis on application-focused initiatives. The client is currently defining specific systems and project requirements and would like to review qualified candidates’ resumes and conduct interviews to validate their experience and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IT projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Support the integration and growth of a developing IT organization.
• Establish and apply effective IT project management processes, standards, and workflows.
• Coordinate projects involving applications, systems, infrastructure, and hardware.
• Work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and apply best practices across projects.
• Facilitate communication and alignment among technical and business stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of IT systems and processes as requirements are defined.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing application and/or infrastructure/hardware-related IT projects.
• Strong understanding of IT processes, project lifecycles, and organizational change.
• Experience working in a growing or evolving IT environment.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable IT project plans.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with a strong application/project management background are particularly encouraged to apply, while experience with hardware and infrastructure projects is also valuable.
