PESCM, located in San Rafael, is the only 24/7 veterinary hospital in Marin County, offering specialty services in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Urgent Care, Emergency, Radiology, and Critical Care.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Veterinary Laboratory Technician to support our clinical team through accurate laboratory testing, specimen processing, and quality control. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

• →Process laboratory samples and accurately enter results into the hospital information system.
• →Prepare and submit specimens to outside reference and specialty laboratories.
• →Perform routine quality control testing and maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• →Maintain laboratory records, including temperature, shipping, and quality control logs.
• →Receive, organize, and restock laboratory supplies.
• →Communicate laboratory results and updates to veterinarians and support staff.
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.
• →Support timely diagnostics and high-quality patient care through accurate laboratory procedures.

• Previous veterinary, medical, or laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Experience with veterinary laboratory equipment and diagnostic testing is a plus.

• Monday through Thursday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Friday through Monday, 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
