Logistics Specialist

We are now looking for a colleague to join our team in Rugvica, Croatia as an Logistics Specialist.

This position is responsible for organizing inbound and outbound transport, coordinator between all parties involved in the transport, preparation of transport and custom documents, preparing logistics documents in Oracle and approvment of transport invoices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inbound

• Transport organization from our Suppliers (within EU borders or outside the Europe) to Vertiv warehouse, related to Projects and Standard orders, organization of road, ocean and air transport, with standard and non standard trucks
• Preparation of import documents for customs clearance for Projects and Standard orders
• Coordination between all parties involved in inbound transport - suppliers, Vertiv warehouse, carriers, customs broakers 
• Responsible for all types of imports like regular import, gratis import, temporary import
• Responsible for receiving verified documents that the goods have really been delivered (collecting PODs)

Outbound

• Transport of goods from Vertiv warehouse and delivering it to destination (within EU borders or outside the Europe) according to Incoterms, related to Projects and Standard orders, organization of road, ocean, air and multimodal transport, with standard and non standard trucks
• Direct delivery from suppliers to final customers if it is according to tax rules
• Transport of the goods connected with Claims of Service
• Handling with all procedures related to export customs clearance for Projects and Standard orders, organizing in-house export customs clearance, preparation of export documents for customs clearance, issuing all certificates needed by customer (EUR1, CoO etc.)
• Preparing documents connected with import customs clearance, if there are special requirements in Customer’s county 
• Coordination with all parties included in outbound transport - Vertiv warehouse, customers, carriers, customs broakers, Global Purchasing, Chamber of commerce
• Responsible for all types of export like regular export delivery, gratis export, temporary export. 
• Responsible for receiving verified documents that the goods have really been delivered (collecting PODs)

• Organization of the transport of the goods, with standard trucks and non standard trucks, to our subcontractors, and deliver it back to Vertiv warehouse
• Organizing transport of ADR (dangerous) goods
• Collecting offers for transport and delivery of oversized cargo
• Providing of the budgetary offers and consultation related to delivery terms (Incoterm) in pre-sales phase
• Organization of transport equipment for loading and unloading, according to the goods requirements
• Activities related to logistics in Oracle, for MU and IMS – Picking and Picking list, Packing list, Delivery and Delivery note, Movement between warehouses
• Activities related to transport invoices – using of XPO, Dataserv and Data2Logistics platforms 

QUALIFICATIONS

• +3 years on similar positions/shipping/logistics/coordination
• University degree – economic specialization
• Active English
• PC skills: Active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A)
• Technical/Practical skills: Good analytical skills, Assessment skills, Organizational skills
• Core competencies: Initiative, Creative, Persuasive, Able to deal with conflict, Problem solving, Detail oriented, Analytical
