Durability & Reliability Development Manager

Purpose/ Objective: Lead vehicle durability and reliability validation activities to ensure VinFast vehicles meet quality, performance, and customer expectations before launch. Key Responsibilities Develop and lead a small team to execute durability, reliability, and road load data acquisition activities for vehicle programs. Plan and manage vehicle durability, reliability, and RLDA test programs. Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. Identify risks and drive issue resolution to meet vehicle quality targets. Support durability target setting and validation strategy development. Collaborate with Engineering, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Ensure compliance with testing standards and data quality requirements. Develop team capability and technical expertise. Requirements Qualifications Masters / bachelor’s degree in automotive, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of automotive testing, validation, durability, or reliability experience. 3+ years of leadership experience. Strong knowledge of vehicle validation, reliability engineering, and problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Why, FMEA). Good communication and project management skills. English proficiency required. Key KPI’s- Durability & Reliability Lead Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA), durability, and reliability activities for vehicle programs. Plan and execute road load, durability, and reliability testing. Manage vehicle instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Collect and analyze vehicle load and test data. Analyze test results and identify risks and improvement opportunities. Correlate field, proving ground, and laboratory test results. Support durability target setting and validation strategy development. Monitor reliability trends, warranty data, and field quality performance. Prepare reports, dashboards, and KPI reviews. Collaborate with Engineering, CAE, Testing, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Ensure data quality and compliance with testing standards. Lead and develop the RLDA team. Key KPIs- RLDA Vehicle durability target achievement. Reliability growth achievement. On-time completion of test programs. Road load data quality and accuracy. Timely and accurate reporting. Effective closure of critical issues. Reduction of warranty and field quality issues. Test-to-field correlation performance. Program launch readiness. Team capability development.
