Chief purpose of this position in support of above mission or goal:
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology is seeking a member to join our comprehensive Advanced Heart Failure Program at the Pauley Heart Center. The successful candidate will dedicate their time to care for patients with heart failure, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support devices. Also, they will integrate into the multidisciplinary team and participate in teaching, quality improvement and outreach projects.

- BC/BE Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist, with demonstrated skills in cardiovascular disease, MCS and heart transplantation
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work with a large multidisciplinary program
- Participate in teaching and fellowship programs
- Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Virginia
- Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
