Lung Transplant Surgeon Proctor - PRN, Department of Surgery, (M89658)

1. →Teaching:  Faculty member will be proctoring faculty surgeons in lung transplant. No resident teaching responsibility.
2. →Research: No research expectation.
3. →Service: Faculty member will not have any committee responsibilities.
4. →Other: Administrative duties as needed to proctor lung transplant.

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
• Virginia state licensure
• Excellent interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
• Ability to function in a complex matrixed environment
• Effective skills in managing conflict
• Commitment to clinical excellence, education and clinical research
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
