Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Physician - SOM - Pediatrics - F60670

• →TEACHING: Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in the area of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. Faculty member will provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, residents, and Fellows when applicable.
• →RESEARCH: Faculty member will have working knowledge in basic research methods and be able to participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research that division may play an active role in pursuing.
• →SERVICE: Faculty member will serve on departmental, hospital, or School of Medicine level committees when appropriate, as well as professional activities through journal review, conference presentations, etc.
• →CLINICAL: Faculty member will serve as a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician for the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

• Previous experience in an academic medical center
• BMT fellowship training or experience preferred
