Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play an important role in helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
→
Providing personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene
→
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and positioning
→
Monitoring and recording vital signs
→
Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
→
Ensuring resident rooms remain clean, organized, and comfortable
→
Providing compassionate care and emotional support to residents
→
Following resident care plans and facility policies
→
Working collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
→
Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

Current Louisiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Ability to maintain certification throughout employment
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
