Patient Transport is hiring for a full-time entry level position as a Patient Transfer Attendant to fill an existing vacancy. No experience is necessary to join our growing company, as we offer extensive training to prepare you to transfer patients.

• →Co-ordinating with your partner to provide excellent customer service to patients
• →Transferring stable patients between medical facilities
• →Taking patients home after a medical stay
• →Liaising with medical professionals
• →Documenting patient information and all relevant information related to the transport
• →Engaging with patients throughout the transfer
• →Monitoring patients and responding to their needs
• →Communicating with Dispatch
• →Following all Safety protocols and procedures

• Demonstrated kindness, compassion, and respect for others
• Positive attitude with a professional demeanor
• Self-motivated, punctual, and eager to learn
• Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to safely lift and transfer 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair in a team setting
• Safe driving practices with a clean driving record

• Valid Class 4F Driver’s License
• Must currently hold a Class 5F license

• Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Standard First Aid with CPR (BLS)
