Responsibilities

- Relocation in an 18-24 month timeframe is a requirement.
- This role will work a few days each week out of either our Elgin, Marengo, Rockford, and Elk Grove offices.

→Assist Controllers with monthly municipal reporting, audits, and sales tax.
→Move bank payments on daily basis.
→Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy.
→Collect financial data and prepare monthly combined financial statements and reports.
→Help with the preparation of annual budgets, updates, and strategic plans.
→Prepare basic financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
→Some site and meeting travel.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related accounting business systems
