Cooler Operator - 1st Shift

• 1st Shift 7:30 am - 4:30 pm - Pay $19.65

• On the Job Training

Primarily responsible manually stacking boxes on pallets prior to shipping. Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations

• →Under general supervision, stack/load boxes from production line on pallets following specific pattern
• →Ensure stacked boxes are straight with label facing out and lot numbers turned to the outside
• →Loads ice-packed poultry on trucks as needed
• →Other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• →High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but nut required

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character

• Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• May be exposed to cold (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Work around raw, live animal odors
