We are looking for an experienced Senior AngularJS / Angular Developer to design, develop, modernise, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. The role requires deep expertise in AngularJS (1.x), modern Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# / WCF, HTML5/CSS, and Micro Frontends.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on development experience, sound architectural understanding, and the ability to work across legacy and modern frontend ecosystems. You will contribute to application modernisation, frontend architecture, reusable component development, performance optimisation, and integration with enterprise backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using AngularJS (1.x), Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components, modules, services, and application features.
• Support and modernise legacy AngularJS 1.x applications while introducing modern Angular capabilities.
• Design and implement scalable frontend architectures aligned with enterprise application requirements.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Micro Frontend architectures and reusable frontend platforms.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using HTML5, CSS, and modern frontend development practices.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Work with C# / WCF services and understand backend integration patterns required for enterprise applications.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into robust frontend solutions.
• Develop clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code following established engineering standards.
• Participate in application modernisation, refactoring, migration, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Optimise frontend performance, scalability, responsiveness, and application reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform structured root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain unit, integration, and frontend automation tests as appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards, architecture guidelines, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, backend developers, QA engineers, product managers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support application deployment, release management, production troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
• Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements to application architecture and development practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation covering application architecture, components, integrations, and development standards.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant hands-on expertise in frontend engineering.
• Strong experience with AngularJS (1.x) and modern Angular development.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including modern frontend development practices.
• Strong expertise in HTML5 and CSS with experience building responsive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with Micro Frontend architecture and enterprise frontend application design.
• Strong understanding of component-based architecture, modularisation, state management, and reusable frontend design patterns.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, enterprise services, and backend systems.
• Working knowledge of C# / WCF and enterprise application integration is required.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, design principles, debugging, testing, and production support.
• Experience modernising legacy applications and migrating AngularJS applications toward modern Angular architectures.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimisation, browser behaviour, security, and application scalability.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, and modern development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to independently own complex technical deliverables while contributing effectively to architecture and engineering decisions.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and driving frontend engineering standards.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
