Czech Annotation Contributor

Are you a native Czech speaker with a deep understanding of local food and solid English comprehension? Welo Data is seeking contributors for a global food delivery project.

In this freelance role, you will review restaurant menu items written in Czech and classify them using a standardized taxonomy in Americanized English. Your cultural knowledge and linguistic skills will directly help enhance food category recognition across diverse global markets.

• →Read & Review: Analyze each menu item's name, category, and description written in Czech.
• →Confirm Context: Check the item photo, if available, to verify the food type.
• →Classify (Dish Label): Assign the most accurate Dish Label from an English-language taxonomy dropdown using keywords like "pasta" or "grilled chicken".
• →Categorize (Course Label): Select the appropriate Course Label in English, such as Appetizer, Main Course, Side Dish, Dessert, or Beverage.
• →Add Contextual Notes: Provide a brief note for any items that seem unclear, ambiguous, or unusual to ensure no row is left blank.

• Duration: 1–2 hours total, up to a maximum of 10 hours

• Linguistic Background: Native Czech speaker currently based in the Czech Republic.
• English Comprehension: Strong ability to confidently navigate and select from taxonomy options written in Americanized English.
• Cultural Expertise: Familiarity with Czech restaurant menus and local cuisine terminology.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a web browser for structured tasks.
• Detail-Oriented: A commitment to providing consistent, accurate, and high-quality work.
• Prompt Availability: Able to complete the assignment within 1–2 business days after receiving access.
